Sealbreakers, a Melee Action Roguelike, Announced

Fire Sparrow Studio has announced Sealbreakers, a top-down action roguelike with a strong emphasis on melee combat. The game now has a Steam page featuring a trailer and screenshots.
Players will take on the role of a monk from the Faceless Order – a disgraced brotherhood that once swore to protect the Seals of Chaos but ultimately failed. The Seals have been corrupted, causing reality itself to fracture. The protagonist must atone for their brotherhood's sins and save a world teetering on the brink of collapse. To do so, they'll need to hunt down and defeat four immortal tyrants, each connected to a damaged Seal. At the start of each run, players choose a combat stance, and as they progress, they unlock new moves and modifiers, allowing for unique fighter builds. The combat system revolves around complex combos, parries, and brutal finishers.
Currently, the game is only announced for PC (Steam). The developers have not yet revealed a release date.
In other news, Battlestate Games studio announced their new first-person sci-fi shooter COR3, set in the year 2251. Prior to that, the dynamic 2D action roguelike Huntdown: Overtime, a prequel to the action-platformer Huntdown, was also announced.
