Devolver Digital announces Forestrike — a tactical fighting game about kung fu masters

Devolver Digital has announced a tactical kung fu-style fighting game called Forestrike. The developers have already released the first trailer, showcasing gameplay footage.

The main character is a martial arts master named Yu. According to the plot, he must cross the country and free the emperor from the captivity of an evil admiral.

One of the key features is the unique battles. Each fight is a puzzle with different styles of great masters. According to the developers, the character has a unique gift that allows him to «see the course of the battle in advance and perfect the necessary moves.»

Additionally, the game includes roguelike elements. For example, fights and environments are randomly generated.

Forestrike is being developed for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
