Where to Find Mist Flower in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is filled with various resources that you'll need to collect for different reasons. They might be required for quests, weapon enhancement, or crafting items. One of the many types of plants in Genshin Impact is the Mist Flower. This icy plant can grow anywhere, but it's more commonly found near bodies of water. The plant can deal damage to you if you get too close. Let's explore how to collect them and what they're used for.

To collect Mist Flowers, you need a character with a Pyro element (such as Pyro, Amber, or Xiangling) who can use pyro skills. Use fire on the icy flowers to melt them and turn them into Mist Flowers. After that, collect them.

Mist Flowers are used for crafting items: «Frostshield Potion» (increases Cryo resistance of all party members by 25% for 300 seconds) and «Frosting Essential Oil» (increases Cryo damage of all party members by 25% for 300 seconds).

During the story quest Darknight Hero's Alibi, you'll be asked to bring several Mist Flowers. The quest can be completed during the first chapter «The Wise Owl. Chapter 1». The quest is given by Diluc, who is located in the Mondstadt area.

Talk to Diluc at the Winery. Find several Mist Flowers and bring them to him. Use the bait-sample to deal with the slime horde. Go to «Angel's Share». Talk to Diluc and head to the designated place to use the bait. Go back to the tavern and talk to Diluc again.

Fight the Abyss Order near the main gates. The battle with a large group of enemies will take place on the main bridge in Mondstadt. In the end, you'll have to fight an Abyss Mage, against whom fire attacks work well. Hand in the quest to Diluc at the tavern.
