Assassin's Creed Valhalla: All Asgard Quests Walkthrough
In this guide, we will describe the walkthrough of all the quests in the «Fate of Havi» questline in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Besides the main locations in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you can unlock the «Fate of Havi» quest chain in Asgard. After upgrading Ravensthorpe, meet Valka at the dock and build her a seer's hut. Complete several additional tasks for Valka and drink the potion to find yourself in Asgard.
View from Above
Talk to the gods of Asgard and head across the Bifrost to Heimdall's tower. Defeat the strong enemy guarding the gates and close them. After that, watch the cutscene with Loki and the Mason.
After completing the first task, you will be able to return to Ravensthorpe. To do this, open the map and find the «eye» icon. If you decide to return to Asgard, drink the Asgard potion in the seer's hut.
Seasoned Traveler
Reach the Well of Urd through Asgard's castle. If you start the journey from Heimdall's tower, it's best to use a boat and reach the source by water.
Descending into the cave, interact with the sunstone and redirect the light beam to the device in front of you to open the passage. Continue following the cave until you meet Tyr.
Now you need to solve the puzzle with the light stones:
- First, you should split one light beam into two. Direct it to the light stone attached to the ceiling at the entrance to the hall.
- Descend into the circle and move the only light stone here so that the beam looks at the device closer to the entrance.
- Direct the second beam to the stone on the left from the entrance, then to another one. The last stone should be directed to the second device.
When both light sources are directed at the mirrors in the center of the hall, the passage will open, and you can go down. Interact with the only object here and watch the cutscene. To get back to the surface, jump into the water and swim through the underwater cave. At the bottom of the river, you can also find the treasure «Tearstone of Ymir». Get to the shore and talk to Loki.
Strong Walls
From Loki, you will learn where the Mason is located. Follow to this area, talk to the man, and bring him three pots of paint. The pots can be found nearby. When the Mason activates the shield, leave the area and find patrolling jotuns. Lure at least some of them into the shield's area of effect. Some enemies will die on their own, but then the shield will weaken, and you will have to fight them. Defeat the remaining jotuns and watch the cutscene.
The Big Family
Return to Asgard and approach the gods standing by the wolf's cage. Talk to Freya and the other gods. After the dialogue, the wolf will be released from the cage. Run after it to the open meadow and fight the wolf. The enemy uses several attacks, one of which is long-range. The most effective tactic is to dodge the attacks in time and deliver several quick hits. After the battle with the wolf, watch the cutscene that concludes the quest.
Strong Bond
From the place of battle with the wolf, follow the trail to the Ivaldi's forge. In the dialogue, you will need to choose one of three options: tell the blacksmith that people will survive Ragnarok. Havi will ask Ivaldi to create a strong chain for the wolf, to which the blacksmith will also ask for a favor. Promise the blacksmith that he will be free. On these terms, Ivaldi will agree to do the job. To complete this task, you need to finish the quests «Cat's Footsteps» and «Taking Root».
Cat's Footsteps
For Ivaldi to start work, you need to find the «cat's footsteps». Follow the marker on the map and climb the arch at the entrance to Asgard. On one of the columns, you will see a statue of Freya — a jumping cat. When you approach it, the statue will disappear and reappear in another place. Run after the statue and jump off the cliff. Havi will catch the sound, and the quest will be completed.
Taking Root
This task can be completed on the neighboring island, near the Utgard rift. If you have been here before, simply use the fast travel point, otherwise, you will have to get there on foot or by river.
Climb to the very top of the mountain, synchronize the area, and jump down into the hay. In front of the hay, there is a stone. Ignite the hay with a torch, then lift the stone and throw it into the water. Jump after the stone. Pick up the «mountain root» and bring the ingredients to Ivaldi.
The Final Touch
Visit the Mason on the island of Indre. In the dialogue, you will need to answer the Mason about Freya several times. It doesn't matter what you choose, as the task will continue according to one scenario.
Follow Loki to the cave near the tower and forcefully open the only door here. Deal with the jotuns and retrieve the paint. Return to the tower. You will face a battle with the Mason.
This boss's vulnerable spot is his head. Wait for him to toss you up and shoot him in the head with a bow. You can also use regular attacks and slow down time during successful dodges.
After the battle, talk to the other gods and head to Heimdall's tower to leave Asgard.
