Where to find and how to complete anomalies in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Anomalies in Assassin's Creed Valhalla are small challenges, after completing which you will find a piece of ancient knowledge fragment. These fragments can be pieced together to reveal a secret video related to the pagan gods of Asgard. In this guide, we will explain how to complete all anomalies in the game. For convenience, we have divided the challenges by regions and provided a map with the location of each anomaly.

Hordafylke

Run forward, climbing the blue blocks and dodging the red ones. Interact with the projector on the right and direct it to the block in the center. In an unstable state, the block moves from side to side. Wait until it is in the far left position and fix it.

Climb onto the first round platform, and from there, proceed to the second round platform, dodging the red blocks. Use the projector on the right to stabilize the nearest block in the far right position. This will allow you to reach the next projector. Direct the second projector to the only unstable block straight ahead and return to the first one. Move the first block to the far left position and run forward.

After climbing onto the round platform, you need to perform several maneuvers to avoid the red blocks. Run along the small ledges on the right or left side (right after the red block moves away from you). On the large block, shift to the other side to let the red block that is returning pass by. Now you can wait on the elevation and choose the right timing.

After overcoming this challenge, you need to climb higher and use another projector on the unstable block. Position it so that the protagonist can proceed further. On the final stretch, wait until the red wave disappears and run forward. Climb onto the far high block on the right, let the wave pass again, and collect the data.

Ledecestrescire

Proceed forward. On the right, there will be a projector; turn it to the right to activate the block in front of you. Higher up, interact with the lower projector on the right. Use it to activate the nearest block on the right side, climb up, and direct this projector to any of the inactive blocks in the center. Descend to the lower projector and direct the beam to the block on the left. Climb up and activate the second central block using the projector on the elevation.

Now you need to redirect the beam from the right projector to the reflector on the right to activate the distant unstable block. Direct the second projector to the nearest similar block.

Proceed further. After climbing up, you will see several projectors. Interact with the left emitter to direct the beam to the unstable block next to the central projector. Run to it and direct the beam to the distant block to proceed further.

Lincolnshire

Run to the ruins. In front of you, you will see a projector (on the left), a reflector, and another projector (on the right). Turn the first projector to the reflector to transfer the beam of light to the device on the left. Now direct the light to the beam splitter. This will allow you to control the light using the projector on the large block on the left

Now you have two unstable blocks in front of you, one emitter, and a reflector. Since the platform on the right is too long, you won't have enough time to run across it while the projector emits a light beam. Move the reflector to the left and activate the left block. Move to the far left projector, then direct it to the right unstable block. To keep the block active longer, return and set the reflector back to its original position. This way you can safely reach the projector on the right, direct it to the vertical block near the round platform, and climb higher.

After climbing higher, descend via the stable block to two projectors. Turn them in the opposite direction and direct them to the two unstable blocks. Note that they should shoot at the nearest blocks; otherwise, you won't be able to climb over the high wall. Move the reflector so that it directs the beam to the last vertical block near the round platform.

Now that the three vertical blocks are stabilized intermittently, you can climb the elevation and study the anomaly.

Jorvikshire

Run forward, interact with the right projector and turn it to the central block. Climb up. It doesn't matter which side you go to first; you will need to visit both. If you chose the left side, run along the small ledges to the red anomalies. You can bypass them by hanging on the ledge, waiting for the right moment, and passing when they are not touching the hero. Direct the projector to the beam splitter, which in turn will temporarily activate two blocks on the sides.

Climb up the left block to the projector. Direct it to the same block you climbed. This is necessary so that you have enough time to reach the projector on the opposite side. Once done, direct the next projector to the round block below. Return and move the previous projector to the round block above. Now you can climb these blocks. If you set them in the opposite order (the right one shining on the upper block and the left one on the lower), you won't be able to climb up. This is because the lower block will disappear before the upper one appears. It should look like the screenshot below.

After reaching the main projector, direct it to one of the two central blocks. It's important to note that these blocks rotate when inactive. If set incorrectly, you won't be able to climb them. Use the white ledges on the right side of each block as a guide.

Since you moved the projector from above to the central block, upon descending, you will need to direct the unstable device to the block in front of the round platform. Head to the right side. Move the projector to the splitter in the center, then turn the splitter so that you can reach the upper device.

Return to the central platform and climb up. Bypass the red blocks and climb even higher to study the anomaly.

Shropshire

After activating the anomaly, blocks and non-existent ruins of bridges will appear before you. Climb the large block on the right, then stop. Wait for the red block to move away and cross to the other side. Similar blocks will be encountered very often in this anomaly. Follow the same principle further. After climbing the elevation, you will see several unstable blocks, a projector, and a reflector. Turn the projector to the reflector, and the second one to the splitter in the center of the location. This way, you will simultaneously stabilize two blocks and be able to proceed further. A bit of parkour and dodging red blocks, and you are already in the next location.

Now you face one of the most challenging parts of the puzzle. Two huge red blocks move back and forth. First, you need to reach the reflector on the left, then from it, pass through the central part of the location to the projector. Wait for the red block to start moving away from you and run after it. Direct the reflector to the unstable block in front of you, then run to the center of the location, dodging the red blocks. From the central block, proceed to the projector, which needs to be directed at the reflector. Return the same way and climb up the active block.

In the next location, use the closest projector to stabilize the block on the right and proceed to the second projector. Direct it to the block on the right to reach the reflector. Turn the last one to the vertical block and return back. Interact with the second projector again, only now it should point at the splitter. And the very first device should be turned to the remaining block.

If you've reached this point, nothing complicated lies ahead. A bit of technique and you are already in front of the fragment of ancient memories.

Oxenfordshire

Follow the bridge, then descend on the right side to the movable reflector. Move the reflector to the left so that the projector's beam hits the distant unstable block. Under the bridge, you will find a passage leading to this block. If you climb it, you will reach a platform with a projector and two reflectors. Move the right reflector to the left and the left one to the right. It should look like the screenshot below.

To proceed further, you need to return to the first movable reflector and move it back to its original position. These are all the difficulties of this anomaly, as there is only a small parkour section ahead.

East Anglia

This anomaly is very easy to complete. First, climb the ruins of the tower, then continue climbing up the blocks. When you reach the spotlight, move it to the central round block. You will need to perform the same operation higher up with the second spotlight. It is worth noting that you cannot linger on such blocks, as the beam is intermittently interrupted by large rotating objects.

Sussex

Descend while avoiding the red blocks. Upon landing, run to the right, go around the previous platform, and climb up. On the left, you will see a spotlight aimed at a large vertical block. You need to turn it to the left towards a smaller block.

Once you reach this block, you need to follow the large descent, where there are moving red blocks. Carefully observe them to choose the timing and jump down. If everything goes well, turn left and follow the only path. You will find yourself before another descent with red blocks that rise and fall at specific intervals. It is best to jump onto this platform when the first two blocks start to descend.

If you manage to slide without touching the red blocks, do not relax, as you need to make another jump onto the beam at the end of the descent. Miss this moment, and you will have to start over.

Use the spotlight on the right to stabilize the left block and descend to the platform below. The spotlight on this level needs to be moved aside. This will cause the block in front of it to rise higher. In turn, this will lead to the distant block descending, allowing you to pass.

Hamtunscire

Before descending the platform, wait for the red wave to appear. It affects the hero in the same way as the red blocks. The wave appears at specific intervals, so you need to reach the next safe block before it appears again. Follow this principle to progress to the rock on the right, then climb it.

When you climb the rock, you will find yourself on a round platform with a rotating mechanism. Around you, there are several unstable blocks, some of which rise and fall in this state. Proceed as follows.

Turn the splitter so that you can reach the only spotlight on the second level. Aim this spotlight at the block that leads to the spotlight above. (At this moment, it will be active, but as soon as you turn the splitter, it will become unstable).

Now turn the uppermost spotlight to the side so that the block it was aimed at descends. Behind this block, a larger block will start to rise. You need to stabilize it at the very top to proceed further.

In front of you is a large red circle that moves up and down. Calculate the timing of its arrival and carefully move upwards. You can hang on the outside of the blocks to avoid collision with it.

Secret Cutscene (Spoilers)

In the cutscene, Odin and other gods of Asgard prepare for Ragnarok in an ancient temple. All gods manage to transfer a part of themselves into the Tree of Life and head towards their deaths. At this moment, the god Loki kills the remaining god in the temple and also uploads his consciousness into the Tree of Life, which grants him immortality and the ability to reincarnate in human form.
