How to Get the Best Ending in Terminator: Resistance

In Terminator: Resistance, there is no definitively bad or good ending. It consists of several cutscenes that tell the fate of the main characters. Therefore, the outcomes can be mixed. Some may die, while others will survive. To achieve the best ending, you need to complete character-related quests and talk to them whenever possible throughout the game.

The survival of Ryan, Erin, Jennifer, and Patrick depends on whether you convince them to leave the resistance bunker.

How to Save Erin. You need to complete her side quests to gain her trust. In the final task, where she asks you to look for her husband, you will find his corpse and a note. Lie to Erin that her husband went to Mexico to look for her, and she will leave the shelter to go after him.

How to Save Ryan. Towards the end of the game, Ryan will ask you to help him repair an engine, as he cannot do it himself. If the commander finds out, he will expel Ryan from the shelter. Since we need him to leave, the task is quite simple. Go to the quartermaster and turn Ryan in. He will be upset and leave, but this way you will save him.

How to Save Jennifer and Patrick. Simply complete all their requests and quests, and in the finale, you will be able to find Jennifer. She will ask you what to do, advise her to leave. Additionally, there will be a romantic scene with her in this episode.

Another person you can save is the scientist Mac. Baron will order you to kill him, but even if you agree, it is not necessary to do so. In a conversation with the commander, agree to kill him, then you will also be able to sleep with her. When you are in Mac's bunker again, tell him the truth. He will pack his things and leave. In the ending, it will be shown that he ends up being imprisoned in one of Skynet's prisons, but after the resistance's victory, he will be freed.

Stealing the chip is not necessary at all. Even without it, Connor will somehow manage to reprogram the terminator and send it to the future. Therefore, you can skip the entire quest chain starting with the tape recorder (points 1-3). So globally, this quest does not affect anything: in the ending, there will just be a different slide.

As for Commander Jessica Baron, it's simple. Besides the romantic scene, there are no variations. You can talk to her about personal matters, but you won't have to make any decisions affecting her fate. She will stay in the bunker regardless, but when everything is over, her body will not be found. What happened to her remains a mystery. She likely survived.

One of the controversial moments is whether to agree to John Connor's offer or not. If you agree, you will go to the past and do what you must. If you refuse, you will meet Jennifer and Patrick, which can probably be considered the best outcome.
