Echo in Wuthering Waves: How to Get the Best
Wuthering Waves is a game that mechanically and visually resembles Genshin Impact. For example, it has its own artifact analogs called Echo. In this guide, we will tell you about the best of them.
How Echo Works in Wuthering Waves
Artifacts in Genshin Impact enhance a character's stats and grant passive abilities. In Wuthering Waves, in addition to this, you can use special active skills. They can be either combat-related or peaceful, such as sprinting or dashing in the air.
Types of Echo in Wuthering Waves and How to Get Them
Echoes are divided into three types:
- 1-Cost — drop from common enemies;
- 3-Cost — drop from elite enemies;
- 4-Cost — can only be obtained from bosses.
Battling enemies is not the only way to get echoes. For example, you will be rewarded with them for completing Tacet Fields. If desired, you can combine several echoes into one more powerful one.
Primary and Secondary Echo in Wuthering Waves
You can equip up to five different types of echoes. The first will be considered the primary one, and its active skill can be used in battle. The remaining four are secondary echoes. They will increase your hero's stats.
You can't place the best echoes in all of the hero's slots, as your character has a cost limit (Cost Limit). You can increase it by upgrading the Data Bank. Players have calculated the most beneficial «artifact» combinations:
- Early game: 4-Cost, 1-Cost, 1-Cost, 1-Cost, 1-Cost;
