Guide to Crafting Weapons in Wuthering Waves

Crafting in Wuthering Waves is quite a simple activity, but it requires meeting a number of conditions. If you want to start producing weapons, check out the guide below to do it faster.

As of today, you can create weapons of varying rarity. Other equipment, except for food, cannot be created.

Once you arrive in the city of Jinzhou, explore it and find Uncle Wei's shop. It is located in the upper right corner of the city when looking at the map. Wei sells ready-made equipment as well as crafting materials.

There is no point in paying attention to the ready-made weapons, as their rarity ranges from 1 to 2 stars. However, the materials will be useful for more advanced options. Currently, Wei's assortment is finite, so once you buy everything the master can offer, the goods will run out. This will likely be fixed in the future.

Behind Wei stands a large screen — this is the panel that opens access to weapon creation. Once you activate it, you will see all the available recipes, the number of required materials, and the fee for creation. For 3-star weapons, you will have to spend 10,000 local currency, while for 4-star weapons, it will require 150,000.

Currently, two main resources are required for weapon creation — Indigoite and Scarletthorn. All deposits can be viewed on the interactive map, but in general, they are not very far from Jinzhou. Indigoite, for example, is located to the east of the city, to the north near the Central Plains, and also to the south of Whining Aix's Mire.

Scarletthorn is a bit harder to find. They are to the northeast of the city and also to the southeast of Whining Aix's Mire.

The second important resource is the so-called weapon molds. They drop as rewards from weekly bosses. Open the guide and find the Weekly Challenge there. You can get these molds up to three times a week, so collecting a large number at once will not work.

Since the game was recently released, the list of craftable weapons is small. The 4-star ones include:

Converter — attack: 27-338, energy recovery: 11.52%-51.84%. If you activate the resonance skill when the owner's health is below 60%, vitality is restored by 5%. This bonus can trigger once every 8 seconds. Suitable for the character Baizhi.

Sword — attack: 31-388; attack power: 8.1%-36.45%. If the owner's health falls below 40%, the damage from their heavy attacks increases by 18%, and 5% health is restored when dealing damage with heavy hits. This bonus can trigger once every 8 seconds. Suitable for the character Danjin.

Broad Sword — attack: 33-413; energy recovery: 7.2%-32.4%. While the owner's health is above 80%, their attack power increases by 12%. When health falls below 40%, it is restored by 5% when dealing damage with regular or heavy hits. This effect can trigger once every 8 seconds. Suitable for the character Taoqi.

Gauntlets — attack: 31-388; energy recovery: 8.64%-38.88%. When dashing or dodging, attack increases by 8%. Counterattack damage increases by 50%. The bonus lasts for 8 seconds. When performing a counterattack, health is restored by 5%. This effect triggers once every 6 seconds. Suitable for the character Jianxin.

Pistols — attack: 31-388; attack power: 8.1%-36.45%. While the owner does not take damage, their attack power increases by 6% every 5 seconds (stacks up to 2 times). This bonus lasts for 8 seconds. When taking damage, the number of enhancements decreases by 1, but health is restored by 5%. Suitable for the character Chixia.

The 3-star weapons include:

Sword — attack: 24-300; health: 6.75%-30.38%. Resonance skill damage increases by 12%. Suitable for the characters Danjin and Yangyang.

Converter — attack: 26-325; attack power: 5.4%-24.3%. Basic and heavy attack damage increases by 12%. Suitable for the character Encore.

Pistols — attack: 24-300; attack power: 6.75%-30.38%. Resonance skill damage increases by 12%. Suitable for the character Chixia.

Gauntlets — attack: 24-300; defense: 8.55%-38.48%. Resonance release damage increases by 12%. Suitable for the characters Jianxin and Yuanwu.

Broad Sword — attack: 26-325; attack power: 5.4%-24.3%. Bonus to basic and heavy attack damage increases by 12%. Suitable for the characters Jiyan and Calcharo.
