Disney showcased an alternate version of Thanos from The Avengers who defeated all superheroes

This week, Disney will hold a large fan event, D23 Expo. The first surprises have already appeared in photos — for example, a banner featuring King Thanos.

King Thanos is an alternate version of the Mad Titan from the comics who defeated the Avengers. Unfortunately, only guests of the Avengers Campus at Disneyland in California will be able to see the supervillain, so there is no talk of his return to the cinematic universe yet.

At D23 Expo, panels dedicated to upcoming series like Daredevil: Born Again and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, among other franchises, were also shown. The event will run until August 11.

Earlier, the company officially confirmed the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This time, the actor will play a popular villain.
