Teaser for the anime based on The Lord of the Rings has been released — trailer tomorrow

Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have released a teaser for the anime The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim. They promise to show a full trailer for the project tomorrow.

The plot of the animated film will unfold before the events of the classic trilogy and will tell the story of the ninth king of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand, and his allies, who will have to fight back the forces of evil. Eowyn will be the narrator, and Miranda Otto, familiar to many from the film adaptation by Peter Jackson, will return to voice her.

The premiere of The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim will take place in theaters on December 13.
