Rumor: Gladiator 2 Online Premiere to Take Place in December

When To Stream shared the approximate date of the digital release of Ridley Scott's Gladiator 2. The sequel to the historical action movie may appear in online cinemas at the end of December.

Paramount Pictures has not yet announced the official date. But according to the portal's sources, the film is planned to be released on December 24. If the information is confirmed, then a little more than a month will pass from the premiere in cinemas — the film was presented on November 22.

In several weeks of distribution in the US and around the world, Gladiator 2 has earned $380 million with a budget of $250 million. To recoup its losses, the film needs to earn twice its cost. The ratings are also mixed — on IMDb they are 6.9/10 points, and on Metacritic, critics gave the sequel 64/100 points. On Rotten Tomatoes, the picture is better — viewers and professional publications have given the film a rating of over 70%.

Recall that the main roles in Gladiator 2 were played by Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington.
