On February 16, the 78th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) ceremony took place in London, celebrating the best film projects showcased in 2024.
All winners:
- Best Film — Conclave;
- Best Director — Brady Corbet for The Brutalist;
- Best Actor — Adrien Brody for The Brutalist;
- Best Actress — Mikaela Madison for Anora;
- Best Supporting Actor — Kieran Culkin for A Real Pain;
- Best Supporting Actress — Zoe Saldana for Emilia Pérez;
- Best Original Screenplay — Jesse Eisenberg for A Real Pain;
- Best Adapted Screenplay — Edward Berger for Conclave;
- Best Animated Film — Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl;
- Best Documentary — Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story;
- Best Film Not in the English Language — Emilia Pérez;
- Best Casting — "Anora";
- Best Cinematography — Lol Crawley for The Brutalist;
- Best Costume Design — Paul Tazewell for Wicked;
- Best Editing — Nick Emerson for Conclave;
- Best Makeup and Hair — Pierre-Olivier Persin, Stephanie Guillon, Frederique Arguello, and Marilyne Scarselli for "Substance";
- Best Original Music — Daniel Blumberg for The Brutalist;
- Best Production Design — Nathan Crowley and Lee Sandales for Wicked;
- Best Sound — Ron Bartlett, Doug Hemphill, Gareth John, and Richard King for Dune: Part Two;
- Best Special Visual Effects — Paul Lambert, Stephen James, Gerd Nefzer, and Rhys Salcombe for Dune: Part Two;
- Outstanding British Film — Conclave;
- Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer — Rich Peppiatt for Kneecap;
- Best British Short Animation — Wander to Wonder;
- Best British Short Documentary — Rock, Paper, Scissors;
- Rising Star Award — David Jonsson;
- Best Children's and Family Film — Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl;
- BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award for outstanding achievement in film, television, and video games — Warwick Davis;
- BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award — MediCinema.
As a reminder, the 97th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 2.
