Teaser Trailer Released for The Toxic Avenger Featuring Peter Dinklage, Elijah Wood, and Kevin Bacon

A new teaser trailer has been unveiled for The Toxic Avenger, a reboot of the 1984 classic. The film stars Peter Dinklage, Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood, and Jacob Tremblay.

The film had its first screening in September 2023 at Fantastic Fest. It is set for a wide release on August 29, 2025. Currently, The Toxic Avenger holds a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

This film is a fantasy action-comedy with elements of dark humor. The plot follows Winston, a down-and-out character whose life takes a drastic turn after he accidentally falls into a pit of toxic waste, transforming into a hideous monster. Now, he seeks revenge on those who wronged him.

Interestingly, a game titled Toxic Crusaders, set in the universe of The Toxic Avenger, was announced in 2023. Its release is planned for the second quarter of 2025.
