Elizabeth Olsen Will Not Return as Scarlet Witch in New Avengers Films

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Elizabeth Olsen revealed that she does not plan to reprise her role as Scarlet Witch in the films Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, despite the hopes of some fans.

Instead, she wants to focus on filming a pilot for FX titled "Seven Sisters." According to her, it's crucial to make career choices that reflect personal tastes rather than just meeting the demands of major franchises.

Elizabeth Olsen portrayed Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2014 to 2022. Her last appearance was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

As for the new Avengers films, Doomsday is set to premiere in 2026, and Secret Wars is scheduled for 2027.
