After Marvel announced the start of filming for Avengers: Doomsday, social media platform X was abuzz with discussions about the impressive lineup of characters set to appear in the comic book movie. Online, people also began joking about who else might make an appearance in the upcoming film.

As is known, Avengers: Doomsday will feature 27 confirmed characters, including both newcomers and those who have previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of Doctor Doom, who will be portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., previously known for his role as Iron Man.

The premiere is scheduled for May 1, 2026. A year later, a sequel titled Avengers: Secret Wars will be released.
