By the end of 2024, Ubisoft will release a new Prince of Persia game. Initially, it will be available in early access on Steam. This information was shared by insider Tom Henderson.
The game is titled The Rogue Prince of Persia. Ubisoft is the publisher of the project, and it is being developed by Evil Empire studio, known for Dead Cells. The game is an action roguelike that the developers plan to actively support, regularly releasing free updates. The insider did not disclose when the project will be announced.
On January 18, 2024, the metroidvania game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was released. The game has become one of Ubisoft's most highly acclaimed projects in recent years.
