Todd Howard: There won't be a TV series based on The Elder Scrolls
Bethesda has no plans for a series based on The Elder Scrolls universe. This was stated by the studio's game designer Todd Howard.
IGN journalists spoke with him on the red carpet during the premiere of the Fallout series, asking about the film adaptations of other Bethesda projects. Todd Howard answered no.
According to him, he also rejected proposals from studios to make a film adaptation of Fallout for 10 years. Only Jonathan Nolan managed to persuade Todd Howard.
Rumors about a possible series based on The Elder Scrolls appeared back in 2020. Then insider Daniel Richtman said that Netflix and Bethesda were negotiating a film adaptation of The Elder Scrolls universe.
