Quentin Tarantino Cancels 'The Movie Critic' Shoot
Deadline has reported that Quentin Tarantino has backed out of making 'The Movie Critic'. According to journalists, the director simply changed his mind about making the film his last work.
Recently, Tarantino rewrote the script for 'The Movie Critic', which led to the postponement of the start of shooting. The filmmaker is now focused on a new project, the details of which are still unknown.
'The Movie Critic' was based on Quentin Tarantino's personal memories of loading porn magazines into a vending machine as a teenager. In one of them, the future filmmaker read about a little-known critic who wrote scathing notes about recently released films. It was this critic that the film was dedicated to.
Brad Pitt was supposed to play one of the roles. There were also reports of possible participation by Tom Cruise and Bruce Willis.
