Netflix: the 5th season of «The Witcher» series will be the last

Netflix announced on X (Twitter) that it has started production on the fourth season of the fantasy series «The Witcher.» The company also announced that the fifth season of the show will be the final one.

Henry Cavill, who plays the lead role, has left the series after the third season — in the new episodes, Geralt will be portrayed by Liam Hemsworth, the brother of Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel films. Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey will reprise their roles as Yennefer, Ciri, and Jaskier.

It is worth noting that Netflix recently released a full-length movie about Woody Woodpecker.
