Horror shooter Backrooms Break now available on Steam

The first-person indie horror shooter Backrooms Break, created by a solo developer on Unreal Engine 5, was released on Steam. Game is on sale for 15% off until May 1.

The game takes place in a mysterious underground labyrinth inhabited by creepy mimics. The arsenal includes a hammer that can be thrown like a boomerang, a pistol, a machine gun, a shotgun, and a rifle. The main feature of the game is destructible environments — gamers can destroy almost any object.

The first player reviews were mostly positive, with the game receiving a 70% rating. Reviewers praised exciting gameplay, although there are some complaints about poor optimization.
