The makers of Chornobyl Liquidators, a simulation game that puts you in the role of a cleanup worker at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster, have released a new trailer and set a release date. The game will launch on June 6 via Steam. The developers also announced that they have found a publisher.
Chornobyl Liquidators will not be a fantastic story, but a story about real people who found themselves at the heart of the Chernobyl disaster. Players will be able to visit Pripyat, explore the tunnels under the reactor, take part in extinguishing a fire at the power unit, use specialized fire-fighting and chemical equipment, study various documents, make difficult moral decisions, and more. The project will be translated into Russian.
