According to Daniel Richtman, Capcom intends to remake the original game. This statement coincides with information from the @PRE_Alarabiya community, which previously shared data about Resident Evil 9. According to it, the remake will supposedly be released in 2026, when the series turns 30 years old.
Let us remember that Capcom already released a remake of the first Resident Evil in 2002. And in 2015, an HD re-release of the remake was released for consoles and PC with improved resolution, frame rate and a new difficulty mode.
