More details about Assassin's Creed: Shadows have surfaced online, which will be officially presented today, May 15. YouTuber j0nathan released a new video (which has already been removed at Ubisoft's request) featuring the backstory of the main characters: Yasuke, a black samurai, and Naoe, a female ninja.

  • At the beginning of the game, Yasuke is an ordinary slave working on a ship with his wife. One day, pirates attack the vessel and kill everyone, including the hero's beloved. A few days later, Japanese people find Yasuke and bring him to a temple. There, he learns about the samurai and enters the service of Oda Nobunaga;
  • Naoe seeks revenge against a mysterious Order that killed her father. Her desire to punish the Templars drives her to join the Assassins.

Additionally, j0nathan reported that Hattori Hanzo, a samurai and military commander from the Sengoku period, will appear in the game. It is speculated that players will witness his death, which occurred in 1597.

At the same time, insider Tom Henderson shared his information, according to which several mini-passes with various cosmetics will be released for Assassin's Creed: Shadows. They will be distributed through the Infinity platform, which will launch simultaneously with the game's release.

According to the leak, Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be released on November 15 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Yesterday, a key art of the game was leaked online.
