«He was the final boss in my eyes»: Fallout 76 player explains why he dropped a bomb on Phil Spencer's camp
Yesterday, we reported that gamers bombarded Phil Spencer's (Phil Spencer) camp in Fallout 76 with nuclear bombs immediately following the closure of four game studios. Kotaku reached out to one of the gamers for more details.
The player turned out to be a user X (Twitter) with the nickname real1090jake. According to the gamer, he was not trying to seek revenge on the top executive, as he had been hunting Spencer for the last few weeks. real1090jake simply finished the main story quest and thought that battling the head of Xbox would be an excellent end to the game.
The gamer added that he initially wanted to challenge Spencer to a duel, but he refused and just waved his hand.
Previously, Fallout 76 became one of the most popular games for Steam Deck. The premiere of an Amazon series contributed to its financial success.
