Evil Empire has announced the postponement of its roguelike The Rogue Prince of Persia, which was supposed to be released on May 14. The developers did not make up any excuses and honestly admitted that the game was delayed due to the unexpected release of Hades 2.
The new release date will be announced on May 13. The developers have stated that the additional time will be spent not only on upgrading Melinoe but also on further polishing the project.
The studio also shared a meme about the unexpected delay.
As a reminder, Hades 2 was released on May 6 without any prior announcements. The game immediately received thousands of positive reviews and surpassed the popularity of its predecessor.
