The Baldur's Gate 3 Collector's Edition for Xbox contains two games instead of one. Larian Studios did not confiscate copies
Players who ordered the Baldur's Gate 3 Deluxe Edition for Xbox received two copies of the game instead of one due to an error. Larian Studios allowed gamers to save the digital version if the code had already been redeemed.
The Baldur's Gate 3 Xbox «collector's package» was supposed to include four game discs, the soundtrack, a Digital Deluxe Edition DLC code, stickers, a poster and a map. Most recently, the publication began to be sent to owners, but many gamers found that they received even more. The key that activated the bonus DLC actually allowed you to download the full digital version of the game.
However, Larian Studios did not withdraw additional copies. One of the redditors shared a letter from technical support, in which the studio allowed them to leave the game if the code had already been activated. The creators of Baldur's Gate 3 explained the incident as a mistake from third-party manufacturers and promised to send the correct key to owners of the physical deluxe edition for Xbox.
Let's remember that Swen Vincke recently hinted that Baldur's Gate 3 contains references to the studio's new project.
