Third-person view may appear in Far Cry 7 — Ubisoft is looking for a specialist
June 21, 2024, 02:32 PM
Judging by one of the job openings posted by Ubisoft, Far Cry 7 will feature a third-person mode. The company is looking for a specialist who will create animations, including with motion capture technology.
According to the description, all animations will be duplicated for first and third person. It is likely that players will be able to switch display modes during gameplay. Motion capture technology is also mentioned.
As suggested on Reddit, this may be required for the cooperative mode in Far Cry 7. However, similar vacancies for previous games in the series for some reason did not include this wording.
