Today (July 25), a major update 1.49 for the racing simulator Gran Turismo 7 will be released, adding six new cars to the game. Additionally, the update introduces a revamped car physics system.
Specifically, this affects the suspension and what the developers call the «tire behavior physics model.» In simpler terms, the car's weight should now shift more naturally during turns.
Moreover, according to Polyphony Digital, the update added more realistic tire heating and wear. The game will also feature the Eiger Nordwand track from Gran Turismo 6, new landscapes, events, Michelin wheels, and tires.
Here is the list of new cars:
- BMW M3 (1997);
- Ferrari 430 Scuderia (2007);
- Subaru Impreza (1998);
- Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 (2008);
- RUF RGT 4.2 (2016);
- Genesis Vision Gran Turismo.
