How The Lord of the Rings game might look on Unreal Engine 5. A YouTuber recreated an iconic location from the movie
YouTuber micah64 delighted fans of The Lord of the Rings by transferring a famous location from the films to Unreal Engine 5. In just six days, the blogger recreated the Argonath — the two majestic statues of Isildur and Anarion guarding the Anduin River.
Using a video, the enthusiast tried to imagine what The Fellowship of the Ring would look like in the format of a first-person adventure game. The entire scene is rendered in real-time, but it weighs a whopping 100 GB.
According to the blogger, the idea to release the video came after watching a video made by modeler Leo Torres. Most of his works are dedicated to cities from Skyrim — on his channel, you can see updated versions of Winterhold, Solitude, Whiterun, and other locations.
If the video becomes popular, micah64 might take on other locations from The Lord of the Rings. One of them could be Helm's Deep.
Let us remind you that a new part of The Lord of the Rings is officially in development. The film will tell the story of Gollum and will be released in 2026.
