Pavel Durov has been officially charged

The creator of Telegram, Pavel Durov, has been officially charged. The 39-year-old entrepreneur was placed under judicial supervision and ordered to pay a bail of 5 million euros. Additionally, he was banned from leaving France, and is now required to check in with the police twice a week.
Durov is accused of six offenses:
- Complicity in illegal transactions;
- Complicity in possession of pornographic materials;
- Complicity in the trafficking of prohibited substances;
- Complicity in fraud;
- Provision of cryptographic services;
- Refusal to provide necessary information to authorized bodies.
