Analysts: Concord sales did not exceed 25,000 copies

Even long before its release, Concord did not look like a successful hero shooter, failing to attract the interest of the audience even during beta testing. At the release, the game was a virtual failure, and apparently sold extremely poorly on PC and PS5.

Analyst Simon Carless from GameDiscover calculated that about 10,000 copies of Concord were sold on Steam and about 15,000 for PlayStation 5. According to another specialist, Mat Piscatella from Circana, after the release, only 0.2% of active PS5 players played Sony's hero shooter.

According to analysts, Concord was let down by three mistakes at once — a lack of uniqueness in an oversaturated genre, poor marketing, and a high price tag of $40 for the project. At the time of writing, the game's online presence is only 85 people. For comparison, 70 thousand gamers are currently playing the alpha version of Valve's hero shooter Deadlock.

The number of players in Concord is inexorably declining — users have already started complaining that they cannot find a team for matches. And recently, the former developer of the shooter insulted the critics of the game, calling them «talentless».
