Players criticized the gameplay and character design in Sony's new PvP shooter Concord
Players received the screening of the hero shooter Concord from Sony-owned Firewalk studio very coldly. They brought down dozens of dislikes on the trailers due to poor character design, derivativeness and lack of original ideas.
Both videos on YouTube show an impressive number of negative ratings (visible using the Return YouTube Dislike extension). The gameplay trailer received the most attention — the video received more than 30 thousand dislikes. Players in the comments criticize the yet unreleased game for copying other people's ideas and imitating other PvP shooters.
" — How generic do you want your game? " — Yes," MrKostable.
«Guys, people are tired of Overwatch, do something different,» fossetchan.
«Nobody is going to play this,» WC_553.
The character design in Concord also received a significant amount of criticism. One of the Reddit users shared a screenshot of the heroine Emari on the forum, provoking such a long dispute among the players that comments on the post were disabled. In particular, many did not like the character's color palette, which combines green armor, a yellow helmet, purple patches and blue lipstick.
«The healthiest Plague Marine I've ever seen» — AnAwkwardBystander.
«It's like they asked ChatGPT to make Overwatch and take away its individuality,» bitsboi.
«These color palettes are terrible,» xos8o.
Let us remind you that the game will be released on August 23 on PC and PlayStation 5. Beta testing of the project will take place in July.
