Rumor: Rockstar intends to postpone the release of GTA 6 to 2026
An insider with the nickname billsyliamgta and an employee of the GTA Base portal said that Rockstar Games plans to postpone the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 to 2026. The PC version of the game will have to wait at least a year.
In his statement, the insider refers to internal sources from two Rockstar studios. According to them, the management has allegedly already decided on a new release window — this could be the beginning or middle of 2026. The game will appear on PC only 12-18 months after its release on consoles.
