Major Mod Brings Seasons to The Witcher 3 — Screenshots and Comparison
The Witcher 3 does not have seasonal changes like Assassin's Creed: Shadows, but with the release of the full-fledged REDkit editor, everything has become possible. A new mod called Weathers and Seasons for the Continent adds summer, autumn, winter, and spring to the game.
The mod was developed by user ianjoseph1986, known for a similar mod for Skyrim. According to the enthusiast, he reworked many details of the game, so the seasons feel completely different. In autumn, the trees turn a pleasant golden hue, in winter everything is covered in snow, and in spring players will see blooming cherry trees and capricious weather.
The developer noted that he tried to make the weather as realistic as possible. To do this, he sought real information about weather, wind speed, and plant shades in Poland.
