Trailer and screenshots of the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver remasters leaked online

The re-release of the iconic action games Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2 is in development. A trailer for the collection, as well as screenshots and other details, has just leaked online.

The remasters were prepared specifically for the 25th anniversary of Soul Reaver. The development is being handled by Aspyr Media, which previously released remasters of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter and Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection.

Judging by the leaked footage, the developers have significantly updated the visual aspect while preserving the gameplay in its original form. The Soul Reaver duology tells the story of the vampire Raziel and his attempts to take revenge on Kain, who threw the hero into the Lake of the Dead.

All details were found in the PlayStation Network database, so it is possible that the game will be announced today at State of Play. As for the release, it will take place on December 10.
