The Wolf Among Us 2 Authors Comment on Game Cancellation Rumor
Yesterday, a rumor about issues with the development of The Wolf Among Us 2 circulated online. A Reddit user claimed that Telltale Games is experiencing difficulties with funding the project and is considering its cancellation. Due to the long absence of news, the «leak» caused a big stir among fans.
Today, Telltale Games gave an official response regarding the game's cancellation. «As a rule, we don't comment on rumours and unsubstantiated reddit threads. But development on The Wolf Among Us 2 continues and we're excited to share more about the game with Telltale fans and our community when the time is right,» wrote the studio's PR manager.
The Wolf Among Us 2 was announced back in 2019. This spring, the developers showed several new screenshots, but did not specify an exact release date.
