The team of fans developing a remake of Fallout 2 using the Fallout 4 engine has released new screenshots and artwork for the project. The images showcase Frank Horrigan (the final boss) and the Cannibal Camp.
It has been revealed that the final boss fight will differ slightly from the original. Players will have to destroy his armor during the battle.
Developer Damion Daponte also mentioned that he aims to add more horror elements to the game.
I work on a lot of Horror based stuff especially with films and games. We wanted to add more Horror to our version of the wasteland due to the somewhat darker aesthetic of the early Fallout games.
The project is titled Fallout 4: Project Arroyo and will be released as a user modification. The release date has not yet been announced.
