S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Benchmark Results Show FPS Performance on RTX 40 Series Graphics Cards
NVIDIA has shared test results for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, set to release on November 20. The game was tested on RTX 40 series graphics cards, which support DLSS 3 frame generation technology.
At 1920x1080 resolution with maximum graphics settings, most RTX cards deliver over 60 FPS, even without DLSS 3. However, enabling the upscaler is recommended for RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti users.
For 2560x1440 resolution, NVIDIA advises an RTX 4060 Ti or higher. The standard RTX 4060 appears unable to maintain a steady 60 FPS even with the upscaler enabled.
The biggest frame rate boost from DLSS is seen in 4K. Here, frame rates increase by an average of 2.4 times. Players with an RTX 4070 can expect around 70 FPS, while the flagship RTX 4090 can deliver over 120 FPS.
For minimum graphics settings, GSC recommends a GTX 1060 or RX 580. Full system requirements are available here.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is already available for pre-load on Xbox Series X/S.
