System requirements have appeared on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Steam page

The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl have published the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version. For a comfortable game, you will need 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 2070.

The entire list has appeared on the project's Steam page. Judging by the published data, the game will take up 150 GB of disk space. In general, the hardware requirements for good graphics and performance are not too high. Note that the same specifications previously appeared on the GSC Game World website, and have not changed at all since then.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 10, Windows 11;
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-7600K;
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • Video card: AMD Radeon RX 580 8 GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB;
  • SSD: 150 GB.

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 10, Windows 11;
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • Video card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB, or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB;
  • SSD: 150 GB.

As a reminder, the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled for November 20 for PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also be available in Game Pass at launch.

Earlier, developers from GSC Game World showed how one of the artifacts familiar to fans of the series will change. Another video with gameplay also appeared - this time, players were shown the Small Zone.
