November 13, 2024, 10:47 AM
It appears Sony is preparing something big for the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation, which launched on December 3, 1994. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the date «December 3, 2024» in a recent Sony ad. The video has since been removed from YouTube, but a screenshot circulated online.
Fans speculate that this could be a teaser for the next State of Play, where Sony might unveil some upcoming titles. A similar event happened for PlayStation's 25th anniversary, featuring reveals like the Resident Evil 3 remake and Ghost of Tsushima.
The last State of Play was held on September 25, with Ghost of Yotei being the main highlight, set for release next year.
