Star Citizen is free to play for a limited time
Star Citizen, one of the most expensive video games ever made, has launched its annual Intergalactic Aerospace Expo. The event runs until December 5th. The game will be free to play for the duration of the expo.
This year's expo takes place on the planet Microtech. A new exhibition hall, showcasing different spacecraft available for free rental, opens every 48 hours. On the tenth day of the expo, all ships will be available for free rental via terminals located in the central exhibition hall.
Additionally, following day ten, players can test-fly the Anvil F8C Lightning, Crusader C1 Spirit, Anvil Terrapin, and Aegis Reclaimer — the top four ships from the 2024 Ship Showdown competition.
In other news, the Epic Games Store is currently offering a new free game.
