CD Projekt RED: Full Development of The Witcher 4 Begins
The next main installment in The Witcher series has officially entered full production. CD Projekt RED revealed this information in their recent financial report.
«I'm thrilled to announce that Project Polaris has entered the full-scale production phase! With new challenges just around the corner, it's the talented and hard-working people who make me believe we can together make the upcoming Witcher Saga a remarkable experience. No stopping now! Stay tuned for what's on the other side of the coin,» CD Projekt RED announced on social media.
Further details on the game remain scarce. It's known only that the project is codenamed Polaris and is being developed using Unreal Engine 5. A release date has yet to be announced.
As a reminder, the PC graphical overhaul The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition for the third Witcher game was recently released, following over two years of development.
