Hideo Kojima Caught Sleeping in the Office — All Due to Fatigue

Recently, social media users noticed a series of photos of Hideo Kojima at work, in which the Japanese game designer looks terribly tired and even asleep. He, in turn, talked about the difficult everyday life in the studio.

The pictures were regularly published by the developer's secretary Ayako Terasiwa, sharing with subscribers shots of the work process. One photo greatly impressed the fans of the game designer — he looked truly exhausted.

Hideo Kojima himself commented on the post: according to him, he constantly lacks sleep because of work, so he periodically makes up for lost time in the office. Sometimes this comes back to haunt him — for example, during the testing of Death Stranding 2:

In response, subscribers advised the 61-year-old developer to get more sleep before work. Meanwhile, Hideo Kojima's assistant published another photo of the game designer — this time dozing off right in the middle of the gameplay. Some fans liked the photo so much that they started redrawing Hideo Kojima and even making memes with him:
