Assassin's Creed: Shadows Devs Reveal Main Story Completion Time
The developers of Assassin's Creed: Shadows hosted a brief Q&A session on Reddit, where they shared details about the upcoming installment in the series. One key topic was the game's length, which the team said is comparable to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Based on this, the main story for Shadows is expected to take between 30 to 60 hours. According to data from How Long to Beat, the average completion time for Origins is 30 hours, Odyssey takes 45 hours, and Valhalla clocks in at 61 hours.
The devs also mentioned the inclusion of a "canon" mode, which features pre-determined key decisions. Some players, especially those who aren’t fond of RPG elements in recent installments, plan to play Shadows this way.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows is set to release on February 14 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Ubisoft recently shared an in-depth look at the game’s combat system.
