In 2024, Keanu Reeves turned 60. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that physical demands are becoming increasingly difficult for him, putting another John Wick film in question.
You can never say never, but my knees right now are saying, ‘You can’t do another John Wick.’ So, my heart does, but I don’t know if my knees can do it.
The interview also featured Sonic 3 director Jeff Fowler, who joked that Reeves’ aching knees wouldn’t save him from future roles in the franchise: You heard it here first: Keanu will be playing Shadow for the next 20 years.”
Perhaps one day Reeves will reprise not only John Wick but also Johnny Silverhand. Recently, actor Idris Elba expressed interest in starring alongside Reeves in a Cyberpunk 2077 adaptation.
