IGN Names the Best Anime of 2024

IGN has started wrapping up 2024 with a focus on anime. After revisiting the year’s releases and lengthy discussions, the team concluded that the anime that impressed them the most was Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.
The adaptation of Kanehito Yamada’s manga became a global hit and even broke viewership records in Japan. IGN praised its deep, melancholic story, compelling characters, and high-quality animation.
Other contenders for the top spot included Delicious in Dungeon, the second season of Oshi no Ko, and The Apothecary Diaries.
Special mentions were given to titles such as Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction, Kaiju No. 8, Solo Leveling, the second season of Spy x Family, The Elusive Samurai, and Too Many Losing Heroines!.
