Windows Central has published its roundup of 2024's best games, highlighting top titles for PC and Xbox, alongside winners in other categories.
The publication crowned S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 as the Best PC Game of 2024, praising it as "one of the most atmospheric and immersive shooters the industry has ever seen." Just a month ago, however, the outlet gave the game a score of 4/5, deducting points for bugs, performance issues, and frustrating monsters.
For Xbox, the title of Best Xbox Game went to Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, lauded for its action-packed campaign, diverse multiplayer modes, and co-op gameplay.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was also recently recognized as one of the most visually stunning games of 2024. On top of this accolade, the shooter received a patch earlier today addressing several bugs.
