«The era of Xbox having permanent console exclusives is over» — Insiders Reveal Which Microsoft Games Might Be Ported to PS5
Windows Central editor Jez Corden recently reported that "the era of Xbox having permanent console exclusives is over". As a result, Microsoft will be releasing its games not only on PC and Xbox Series X/S but also on other platforms.
Rumor has it that this year, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, Age of Mythology, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition might be ported to the PS5.
Additionally, insider NateTheHate revealed that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Previously, other Xbox Game Studios titles have been ported to PS5, including Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, Grounded, and Hi-Fi Rush. Also, this year (in the first or second quarter), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which was released in December 2024 on PC and Xbox Series X/S, will be ported to PlayStation 5.
