Transhuman Design Unveils Brutal Top-Down Shooter Jackal

Indie studio Transhuman Design, known for titles like King Arthur's Gold, Maniac, and Soldat, has announced its latest project: Jackal, a gritty top-down shooter.

Jackal puts players in the shoes of a Las Vegas hitman who's decided to take on the city's criminal kingpins. The game features procedurally generated levels, meaning each playthrough offers a unique layout of enemies. Players will engage in intense, bloody gunfights and melee combat, while unlocking a variety of gameplay-altering upgrades like time-slowing, dual-wielding pistols, and more. According to the developers, Jackal draws inspiration from titles such as Hotline Miami, Superhot, OTXO, and John Wick Hex.

A release date has not yet been announced, but players can add Jackal to their Steam wishlist now.
