Nintendo Switch 2 Trailer More Popular Than PS5 Reveal Video

The announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 sparked a huge reaction in the gaming community. Despite questions surrounding the console, its trailer has garnered a large number of views and surpassed the PlayStation 5 reveal video.

According to Video Games Chronicle, the first-look video of the new Nintendo console has amassed over 17 million views in less than two days. In comparison, the PlayStation 5 trailer gathered 13.3 million views in its first 48 hours. However, the Nintendo Switch 2 video was unable to surpass the trailer for the original Switch, which was watched 19.5 million times in two days.

The Nintendo Switch 2 was announced on January 16th. In the video, Nintendo did not reveal the device's technical specifications, instead opting to only showcase its design and tease a new Mario Kart title.

A full presentation of the console will take place on April 2nd.
